Could someone please explain the concept of "Karma" to me. I just want to be sure I have the idea right. Both the giving/donating and the receiving end of the whole thing.
Thanks in advance,
Chuck

Like doing a Karma here? Or do you mean in general terms?
A Karma here is just a matter of giving something away, under conditions that you post. usally something you don't need or use anymore, something that's been collecting dust, etc.Source: Bluesound Node 2i - Preamp/DAC: Benchmark DAC2 DX - Amp: Parasound Halo A21 - Speakers: MartinLogan Motion 60XTi - Shop Rig: Yamaha A-S501 Integrated - Shop Spkrs: Elac Debut 2.0 B5.2 -
So the giving part is mostly just a matter of passing along something I no longer use or need and would like to have it placed in a good home where it would be appreciated and used.
The receiving part would consist of needing and wanting to use the item that was being offered as long as I could meet the requirements.
I would also suppose that choosing the recipient of the said Karma would be a draw from a hat of worthy (as in the opinion of the giver) takers as to not play favorites.
If this be true I could be cleaning out some stuff at the house when I get home.

It's YOUR karma, you make the decisions. If you want to pick someone specifically--hey, it's your stuff or you can draw from a hat. I've seen some Karma's (especially big items) where the person giving the item away has asked that the recepient pay for the shipping. Usually I have my assistant at work pick a number, then I go to that post # and whoever is there (and wants in on that Karma) gets it.
It's just a nice way to pass something on to someone else...Source: Bluesound Node 2i - Preamp/DAC: Benchmark DAC2 DX - Amp: Parasound Halo A21 - Speakers: MartinLogan Motion 60XTi - Shop Rig: Yamaha A-S501 Integrated - Shop Spkrs: Elac Debut 2.0 B5.2 -
cool...thanks for making it a little clearer for me. Like I said before I can be a little "slow" at times.
