So what do you have planned for the 4th? Bev & I are headed off to Vegas after work today, as we couldn't come up with anything else, and what the heck--it's only 7hrs away.

Whatever you're up to, be safe and have fun. I expect to see all your smiling faces on Monday....

Until then...VIVA LAS VEGAS, BABY!

GOt five days off of work (well, 3, then the usual weekend). Doing lots of housework for the next couple days; spending the fourth in Boston with a friend who's visiting.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

I'm making the six-hour drive home this afternoon and taking tomorrow off. I'm just going to enjoy spending four days at home instead of watching corn (and our wind turbines) grow. I'll probably end up BBQing with some friends and drinking too much.

Nothing but work. Thanks to the f'ing politicians fireworks are banned here so some brews and a movie will sum up my 4th. Maybe some Alizee at reference in the theater.

No fireworks? F'n safety zealots. Come to Arizona my friend, it's unsafe as hell.

Well, believe it or not, There will be NO FIREWORKS on the Vegas strip this year; SIN CITY...now that's just wrong.

I plan on throwing some football with my boys, listen to music with the back door open on the back pation with a cold beer, do some gourmet burgers on the grill, chilled watermelon for dessert, and maybe watch some local fireworks.

I'll tell ya, I LOVE our pool. I thought for sure I'd have major buyers regret behind that purchase, but hell, most people spend more on a car. I would further highly recommend to anyone, getting a Salt water chlorine generator.

Tossing the tent in the truck and doing some camping and fishing with friends in the Sangre De Cristo mountains. Normally we won't go on holiday weekends because it's just too crowded but we're sucking it up this year because our friends are moving away in a few weeks.

Tons of people from here head across the border (about 1.5 hour drive) to a small town (Grand Marais) to watch the fireworks display and party. I think I might join in the fun this year. Grand Marais apparently has a fireworks display that DESTROYS our crappy Canada Day fireworks in a city of 110 000! :o
