I bought these speakers cables a few weeks ago from the Flea Market, but eventually traded up for a pair of longer cables. So now these are for sale for the same great price - $50 shipped in lower 48. Here's the link to the sale: http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?t=67874&highlight=labs

PayPal preferred. PM me if interested.

Thanks.

Manufacturer's Description:
Silver Sonic T-14 High Resolution speaker cable was designed by D.H. LABS to provide the highest quality sound at a much lower price than competing cables. It uses the finest materials available, including silver, oxygen-free copper and a pure Teflon dielectric.

The cable is completely manufactured in the U.S.A. The process begins with strands of high purity OFC copper, which are individually coated with a thick layer of silver. The strands are then tightly wound and extruded with our Teflon insulation. Silver Sonic T-14 uses DuPont PTFE, which is the highest grade of Teflon (and the most expensive). The cable has a very low capacitance of 21.5 pico-farads per foot. The inductance is also very low, which allows consistent performance with a wide variety of speakers. In fact, a ten foot length of T-14 cable has less inductance than the output stages of many amplifiers! Vibration damping spacers and a tensioned wrap under the jacket hold the conductors tightly in place, and the cable is completely free from resonances and microphonic effects that cause a loss of resolution. From the deepest bass to the highest treble, T-14 provides the most transparent sound possible, with precise imaging and a large, deep sound stage.

If it itches in my britches and I let it linger, can I scratch it with this speaker wire? I don't see that in the specs...

Seriously, guys, from what I've heard, these are great cables and easily worth that. I have more cables than I know what to do with or else these would be mine.

    Early,

what speakers did you use this cable with and what did you think of it? I would be putting it with a pair of monitor 10 series II's.

I used these cables with my stereo subs. They replaced some DIY cables, so of course they sounded better than those.

Thanks Early - They sound like pretty close to what I wanted, but I need 8'-10' cables. I don't think 6' will be long enough. (thought they would be but after some quick measurements, don't think so now.)

Anyway - bump for a great cable. If the length works for you, definately do a quick google search for some reviews and I think you will want to give them a try as much as I wanted to.

    Good luck with your sale.

Many of us would like to post an Avatar - not much we can do to help there....

As far as the name change - reregister with your new name would be easiest. (of course you would lose your 3 posts and have to start all over) - or you could make 7 more posts and IM justin asking if he will change it for you.

Either way - welcome to club polk.

ljc104u -- you already bought these cables on audiogon.

I forgot to mark them "sold" here.
