That's a classic. Most people don't even know who he is, but when they hear "rock and roll" at the beginning of most any sporting event, they instantly recognize it. Its a shame the guy had major personal problems and ruined his career.
BTW, I have a VG++ copy that I'm not getting rid of.
EDIT: My bad, the version I have is called "The Leader". It was a compilation released in 1980.
Max,
I don't know if there is an LP called Rock and Roll. The song(s) were originally on the LP named Glitter and have been on many compilations. There was a 7" single that had Parts 1 and 2 on it.For rig details, see my profile. Nothing here anymore... -
Max,
I'm hitting ALL the record stores I can on the west coast while I'm out here working. I've more than likely bought over 300 LP's while I've been out here. I'll keep my eyes open. I'll be out here another 4-6 weeks so I have ample time to check around. I'll PM or post if I see anything.

You made me look.......I have a very good original lp of Gary Glitter. The only change is that the inner sleeve was replaced years ago with a better one. The front and back cover has some wear marks from sliding in between other albums. The record itself looks clean and free of scratches and there is a number 33 written on it with a marker. Guess I'll have to play it tomorrow.
Not sure if I'd want to get rid of it though.

Looking for a pretty much perfect copy of the lp, don't much care about the album cover. I have a copy but it has a few noises in it. Yeah joe, thats the one!
