i got about 500 to spend on a sound system and i just want to make sure what i choose is grade a stuff. I have heard the competetion subs are really nice but i want a knowledgable answers.
Would this be a nice system?

not a bad deal if the speakers are not blow or have been bottomed out. i would ask him to demo them first before buying them. IMO
