Hello, I want to complete my system but I am undecided between these two subwoofers: psw303 or psw111. Each will do fine for the room size. I would set all my speakers to small and use the LFE input on the sub.

Here is my setup:

c: Csi3
f: Rti6 (bi amped)
s: Rti4

Yamaha HTR 6090
Sony LCD 40w3000

Thanks

    Can you listen to both?

From the reviews of both - there are satisfied owners for each.

From the specs the PSW303 reaches lower, but the 111 has more power output.

What are your listening habits? More music than HT movies or primarily movies?

The PSW303 has polymer composite driver which 'matches' the CSi3 and RTI speakers you have - not sure if that would make a difference.

If you don't listen at high volumes, I'd say that you'd want the PSW303 because it can reach lower and has a lower -3db rolloff freq.

    But...that's just me... ;)

    Thanks

The one thing that psw303 owners seem to complain about is the noise from the back - something the psw111 reviews do not mention.

Each sub would offer enough power for my needs.
The psw303 does get lower frequencies which would be nice.

The psw111 is higher rated (however only 6 people rated it)

Price wise, each seem to come into the 300$ range in Canada, I have seen cheaper in the US for the psw303.

Given I have always been satisfied with Polk products for 10+ years; I wish to stay with Polk for the sub.

    I am still undecided.
