Up for sale is Harman Kardon DVD 50 5-disc DVD changer.

The player works perfectly. This is a progressive scan DVD changer. It also plays MP3 music files.

Comes with original remote. Also have a manual for it in PDF.

Cosmetic condition: 7/10 - I had one of the amps sitting on it, so the top cover has two dents in the corners. Otherwise, the condition is great, faceplate is great too - no scratches on it.

The Harman/Kardon DVD-50 DVD player was awarded at CES 2001 with an Innovations award. The DVD-50 is the first 5-disc changer to include built-in MP3 decoding, compatibility with CD-R and CD-RW discs, and progressive scan output. The DVD-50 employs a 10-bit/27MHz D/A video converter, standard scan-rate component video (in addition to progressive scan), S-Video and composite video outputs. On the audio side, the player incorporates a Wolfson 24-bit/192kHz audio D/A converter and provides built-in HDCD processing.

would that be good for a cd player

I used it as my CD and DVD player until I got my HD-DVD player. It plays CDs just fine, as well as MP3 CDs. This player also was made to play HDCDs, but I don't think you can find those on the market any more.
