SRT system for sale on eBay. Local pickup only and is within 1 hour of me. Is $3,000 a fair asking price for the L/R/C and 2 control centers (no rear channels)? What have these been selling for lately?

Its a shame the rears are missing. The fact there's two control centers, you'd have to assume they were the SDA surrounds......
In terms of audio, i truly feel sorry for the visually impaired. How can they know what they like if they cant read google?

$3k seemed a bit high to me, especially since the rears aren't included but still trying to figure ANY angle that would be justification to go get them..... $3k is the starting bid on eBay but there is a store in Costa Mesa where a person can go buy them. Guessing they're for sale either way. I did a quick search on the system showcase and I think these may have belonged to a member bent123 since the same place is also selling the exact models of McIntosh amps that he has listed with his system.

No, they don't belong to him. It was some guy who recently posted up that he just got them and couldn't figure out how to hook them up to his receiver....wanted to know what they are worth. I can't find the thread, maybe someone else can. Looks like he wasn't a private owner, just another smuck with a business trying to gain info from us to make a profit.

I've changed my mind, he wants way too much for them and I hope Karma bites him in the ****.

I think you may be right Dpowell, great detective work... The system showcase shows 2 control centers in there aswell, but no photos of the rears.

There are no configurations of SRT with 2 control centers, unless of course you have 2 pairs of fronts or the ever elusive SDA surrounds......

    Here it is.
I recently came across a Polk Audio SRT system with the two front speakers, two subwoofers, 1 center speaker, and two control centers. I'm trying to figure out what these are worth, I think this system is discontinued. What replaced this system or was it just no longer manufactured for any reason? I have the speakers connected to a Harman Kardon AVR7200 and it sounds great but I can't figure out how to connect the subwoofers/control centers. Even with out the subs, these speakers got bass. Any information would be greatly appreciated!

    The whole thing......

I don't have the slightest interest in these things, but anyone know how an SRT operating in 2ch would compare to 1.2TLs? Just curious.

Two completely different animal. I won't go there since both of these speaker system are considered the best polk had to offer at one time or another.
I have both and i will never get rid of them.

Amazing. Trying to fish for info and interested Polkies with 0 thread count. Maybe I'll offer him $800 and reference his own thread where Lasareath states:

" had a friend pick up a whole set this year for around $600.00, But I have seen it sell for as much as $800.00" :D
