I am having trouble getting DTS-HD. I just installed my new Yamaha RX-V3800 receiver and hooked it up to my 7.2 setup. When I play a Blu-Ray with DTS-HD it does not show on the receiver screen. I tried adjusting the setting on the PS3 and on the Yamaha GUI but no DTS-HD. Am I missing something? Is it something to do with Bitstream or PCM settings?

The ps3 internally decodes TrueHD and DTS-HD MA and transfers them via PCM over HDMI. Your receiver should be set to receive PCM. It will not indicate that it is receiving DTS-HD MA. The ps3 does not bistream these lossless formats, only regular DD and DTS.
