Hello,
I have a few questions for all you Polk audiophiles!
What is the best amount of watts to run the above speakers? (I have four in my Jeep with an Alpine CDE-9874 headunit providing about 16 watts per channel at the moment)
I'm looking at either an Alpine 40 watt or 50 watt amp. The 50 watt amp is approximately $50 more. Is it worth it?
Also, if you have amplified these speakers, do they produce much more bass than off the headunit or do they just simply get louder?

Check out the car audio boards, Brian. They are listed under "on the move". Mostly Home audio here.
FWIW, I say the fifty watts. More the better, I always say. Polk makes car amps, too, you know. Good ones...
