Hey Guys. Looking to sell my Pioneer Elite 72txv. It works great, am still currently using it. I have had the firmware updated by an authorized Pioneer Elite center so that it properly applies the bass boost to PCM HMDI signals for the new Blu-Ray/HD-DVD formats. I have the calibration mic, manual, and remote. I also have the original box for it, but will need to carefully pack it as I'm not sure if the Styrofoam is still in there or not. Looking to sell for 425+S/H

    This is a great receiver and will pass almost all currently available HD formats via HDMI. I had one, and wish I had kept it.

    No kidding, I have the 74 model and it's not going anywhere. I've had it since '05, and will use it till it quits.

    This does lossless audio multichannel via HDMI?

    Yes it does, via PCM. As long as the player does the decoding, you're golden.

    Works wonderfully with my PS3 and Toshiba XA1.

    It does have an onscreen set up display, but it's pretty bare-bones. Basically just text. As others have said, it works great playing the decoded PCM soundtracks from Blu-Ray disks. And, as noted, it does have the firmware upgrade done so the bass is properly boosted as it should be.
