Rotel RMB-1075 Multi-Channel Amplifier - 9/10 - Silver - *SOLD* to TouchOfEvil

I picked this up from an upgrade that went way beyond original budget and it's barely used. It's beautiful in aesthetics and has some real **** to match. The amp and the associated extras look like they came off the showroom, including the box(s).

The **** end is top notch, look at those binders! and even the bottom is dressed up. This amp is classy and in MINT condition.

Here's some spec's from Rotel:

Continuous Power Output: (20-20 kHz, <0.03%) 5x120 watts /ch / 8 ohms
DIN Power Output: (1 kHz, 1%) 5x200 watts /ch / 4 ohms
Total Harmonic Distortion: (20 Hz - 20 kHz, 8 ohms) <0.03% maximum
Frequency Response: 15Hz - 100kHz +0.5dB, -3dB
IM Distortion: <0.03%
Damping Factor: (8 Ohms) 180
Input Sensitivity / Impedance: 1.0V / 33kOhms
Signal to Noise Ratio: (IHF A) 116dB
Power Consumption: 800 watts
Dimensions: (W x H x D) mm 432 x 189 x 402 mm
Dimensions: (W x H x D) in 17 1/8 x 7 1/2 x 15 13/16 in
Weight: (net) 18 kg, 29.75 lbs

It's 4ohm stable and fully capable of driving hard loads. Adcom gives you raw power, the Rotel does the same but adds a little bit of flavor...and that's nice.

All connections have been treated with CAIG Pro-Gold and it will be shipped in the original double box.

Rotel RMB-1075 - Owners Manual

Includes: Original everything.

Tell me a story about the Rega and the Mites. I'm looking for some more bookshelf speaks for my study. I'm also looking for a SACD player, but could be lured into the Rega but no promises.

Yea, these guys are right. Getting stuff before you get married makes hiding the transaction sooooo much easier. You can always just tell her a friend at work gave it to you. And that you were robbed right after taking $700 out from the bank.

This a sweeeeet piece. Doro keeps some mad clean stuff.

Who ever buys this amp will be very happy with it, I am. It's received alot of good reviews and was considered a "best buy" in its price range. I've owned one since October 2007 and have experienced no problems with it.

Thanks for the comments guys. I keep on looking at it and wondering if I should keep it for the new HT but I might not do that until next year.

I suppose this would be a good solution for the power amp question I had in the electronics folder? Is this possibly overkill for my setup?

But anyways, I'm pretty tempted. Although it's a lot of money for a college guy. Is 800 watts a lot of power consumption? Are my parents going to be eating me for their power bill?

    Thanks

Oh and by all means, don't hold this for me while I ponder, if someone willing to buy comes along, first come first served.

You can never have too much power and it's certainly not overkill. It would be a very nice compliment to that RTi setup. That's a balls to the wall power consumption rating and the amplifier alone isn't going to make a noticeable increase in a electrical bill.

The amplifier would also be ready for any 4ohm speakers you may end up with down the road...hint hint, LSi. :)

I'll split the shipping with you if that helps a little bit.

I agree, certainly not too much power and it would be a great fit with your system. The electric bill isn't going to change.

Alrighty, that's good news about the electrical bill.

I'm not sure you'd want to split the shipping with me. I'm in Alberta......Canada. Even though I'm jsut a cross the border, a lot of sellers refuse shipping for obvious reasons.

I'm willing to work with you since I've shipped to Canada quite a bit in my travels. We just have to agree on some particulars. If you're interested, email me but I appreciate the interest either way.

Whoever picks up this amp will NOT be disappointed! I've had mine for a couple months now and I LOVE it!!! Good stuff this is....

I'm running my HT set up with it and I couldn't be happier, well, only if I had the 1095? I've got LSI-15's up front, LSI-C and LSI-FX's and it powers them beautifully!
