Still trying to decide between the Parasound Halo A-21 & P3, the Parasound New Classic 2250 & 2100 or the Rotel RB 1080 and RC 1082? Any fedback on these products would be appreciated.

I actually called the Parasound tech department this AM. I spoke to a guy who said the differences between the A-21 and 2250 would be fairly nominal. If this were the case, I would choose the 2250 and the 2100 because of their look (I like the black on the New Classic better than the stainless on the Halo). Plus, the Halo is a bit large at +/- 19 inches in depth. It is hard to believe the sonic differeces would be nominal given the price difference between the Halo and New Classic lines.

Don't know a whole lot about the Rotel.

Thanks for your thoughts!

I would go for the Halo line. If you saw them side by side nekked you could see the difference in the build quality. That's what you are buying and more. I own a number of the Halo line products and they are definitely smoother, with a more detailed and deeper sound stage. The Halo will make a big difference if you have good speakers. If money is tight, the Parasound Classic series will do very well.

Good luck and welcome to Club Polk!

Tne differences are nominal due to the diminishing returns on most gear at this level. Each zero added to such nice gear results in less increase. They call it refinement not improvement.;)
