I just wanted to share, seems like a good deal. It's the black model, is new and includes free shipping.

I had some Amazon gift cards and decided to grab one, never been much of an onkyo fan but have heard great things about this one so I'll giv e it a shot.

There may be a better deal elsewhere, but it's about the cheapest from a good dealer once you factor in a new unit and free shipping.

Thanks for the post. You might want to change the thread title to "805" instead of "850" though. The lowest i've seen the Onkyo 805, including free shipping from amazon, was ~$550.

None the less, i've heard great things about the onkyo 805 and it is definitely the best "bang for buck" AV receiver out there.
