    blah.

I have a set of these, actually the series before these (Primus 360's), along with the matching 160's for the rears and the 25? for the center. These are working in a spare bedroom we call the gaming room for my son's XBox 360 & PS3. They sound pretty good for the money. Running a Yamaha HT receiver and a cheapo Advent SW12 sub. Low budget and as I said, pretty good sound for the money.

lol, I was saying blah because we previous comment was inappropriate, and decided to leave it as a bump; I did audition these at fry's a couple of days ago. sounded pretty good, especially at this price.

I think they sound a lot better on my onkyo 805 than the RTi8s.
The 8s need more power to sound good. So if your just using a
good AVR the infinitys sound fantastic.

I just want to comment on these speakers a bit. The reason I want to try these out is because of the review done by Stereophile on the older model Primus 360.

    http://www.stereophile.com/floorloud...ty/index3.html

They measured very well, even for a speaker costing 10x as much than the asking price here. My plan is to have the cabinets modified in such a way where they can objectively be compared to speakers costing 50x as much.

FWIW whoever bought these got a steal. They're supposed to be magical with tubes.
