Happy New Year! (and the new year resolutions)

Hope everyone here has a safe New Years Eve tonight. Have fun bringing in the new year.

Me I am going to start cracking beers in 2 hours.

And my new years resolution is to quit smoking my stupid **** one pack a week. I just do not know why I have to have 3 cigs a day. Just plain stupid if you ask me!

    I'm ditchin the cigs tonight too. It will SUCK, yes, but I want to be *free* of them for good.

    I'm thinking a quick nap, a bottle of gatorade (hydrate up for tonight), then start tossin' em back.

    I have several resolutions, save money, !!!! and that covers the rest! Try and enjoy myself tonight and forget the stress of all of us haveing the flu, I only have some cold symptoms so the night should be well/// Plan on staying home, making ribs,chicken wings, chips/dip.. early before i get the no ambition mode later!

    I'm starting with a pint of Samual Smith Stout (which I bought yesterday, Thanks BDT) then I'm going to try and catch some fireworks! Who knows, if the Stout is that good I may end up with a second!

    Resolution - Buy 2 more 2 channel adcom amps, an xbox - 7 games, 3 controllers, 2 memory cards and then dont buy nething after 2004 and save for a car...

    MM, good stuff that Oatmeal Stout. I can only drink one at a time though. I drank 4 of them once and felt like I had swallowed a loaf of bread.

    Trying to quit smoking after tossin' em back are almost mutually exclusive concepts! Good luck, Russ - that's a tough nut to crack. Hell, think of all the money you'll save for upgrades!

    You know, that's pretty much how I justify my audio habit. I don't smoke, don't go to bars much (although I do enjoy a little good whiskey and beer from time to time), no boat, motorcycle and so forth. My hobbies are pretty much just audio and golf.
