TSi300s sound really nice

TSi 400s sounded veiled/underpowered on the POS receiver in the BB test rig. They could be beasts, but crave juice.

The 300s, however, were fun - big and bold, I can see these being a great party speaker. The highs were a bit etched (of course, we're talking sales floor so conditions weren't perfect but I had them LOUD). They even managed to stage well in the relative sweet spot. They were much more revealing than the Klipsch RF towers and, predictably, murdered the Sony towers they were up against.

The TSi100s were OK. No big improvement over the Monitor 30s, and the Insignia NS-B2111 next to them ate their lunch for $120 less. The BB didn't have any 200s (or 500s) around, so I can't speak for those.

The CS10 was a treat, HUGE improvement over the CS1 with a warm, smooth, mellow disposition. The same can be said for the whole line, it seems: a shift toward warmth and away from detail. Again, 30 minutes total listening time, but I wanted to see and hear the new Polks for myself.

They're all very attractive, a definite visual improvement over the Monitor line (particularly the towers).

Still, I think most people (myself included) won't be trading their RTis for TSis anytime soon. Once I got home I cranked up my RTis and smiled.

All the same, I'd definitely rather have a pair of TSis than Monitors in the garage, kitchen, etc... A fun speaker at almost impulse prices (just wait for Black Friday!).
