I like the dual spiders! Something that really should hit mainstream.Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
Thanks

Unfortunately it will have the mandatory 1000% wilson audio markup.
I'm sure dual Epik Conquests will outperform it in every way for 1/10th the cost.My Iron Man training/charity blog.

I wouldn't go that far. The Thor will only cost you a mere $21,000;), but the Thor digs down to 10 Hz (-3db). At 59" tall, it looks very imposing. Thor also has dual 15" drivers with dual spiders. It also comes packaged with an external crossover/equalizer and can tame room nodes. Plus, it's passive, so you choose the amp, and whatever amp you choose will certainly outperform the Conquest's BASH plate amp.HT/2-channel Rig: Sony 50 LCD TV; Toshiba HD-A2 DVD player; Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro; Rogue Audio M-120 monoblocks (modded); Placette RVC; Emotiva LPA-1 amp; Bada HD-22 tube CDP (modded); VMPS Tower II SE (fronts); DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4CC (center); Wharfedale Opus Tri-Surrounds (rear); and VMPS 215 sub

Alright, 7 epic conquests for 1/2 the price. (assuming of course, you have a killer amp just sitting around collecting dust so you don't have to purchase it)
For a single box - it is pretty awesome. I would love to hear one someday. Even if I had the funds though, 21k for a sub would be a hard pill to swallow. (easy to say when you DON"T have that kind of disposable income)
Anyway - I am sure it will make the owners really happy. I think if I were to spend that kind of money on a sub I would go with an infinite baffle setup (4-8 15" woofers should do it (depending on room size) and a rotary woofer to augment it down low.
Dream on,

I really like how it looks, especially in the horizontal position. Besides, it kinda looks like Thor's hammer.
Those Wilson floorstanders in the pic -- that's butt ugly. They look like like R2D2.HT/2-channel Rig: Sony 50 LCD TV; Toshiba HD-A2 DVD player; Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro; Rogue Audio M-120 monoblocks (modded); Placette RVC; Emotiva LPA-1 amp; Bada HD-22 tube CDP (modded); VMPS Tower II SE (fronts); DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4CC (center); Wharfedale Opus Tri-Surrounds (rear); and VMPS 215 sub
