Okay, tonight is the "big" night.. we say good bye to 2002 and ring in 2003. how are you all going to ring in the new year? I admit, i don't have any plans. would love to do something. but what?

Was thinking of going to a Casino and ring in the new year that way.. maybe even win a buck or two. Besides that.. some alcohol is on the menu i'm sure.. ha ha ha.

well guys, Happy New Year and the best to you and yours.

    Drink.

I tested the alcohol I bought last night, and yep, it works.

Drink BEER is the answer. I'm going to tip a few early today and get home before the rookies hit the street. Then at home let the Beer begin. My wife like Rum and we have the bubbly so it should prove a great night at home with my girls.

    Stay home.

I used to go to the clubs for the big night. Those damned amateur drunks just ruined it everytime. If they were not mouthing and starting fights, there was one or two puking all over the place. Hell, the men amateurs were almost as bad. Just can't handle that anymore.

I'm still on probation from our Christmas party. I might try to sneak a few drinks past the lovely Wendi. Then I'll try to get her all liquored up so I can move in for the first score of the New Year, if you catch my drift.

My daughter is over at one of her friends for a sleepover (God bless those parents). My son and one of his buddies are downstairs in the recroom watching a movie, they'll be asleep by 11:00. My wife made a withdrawal from Blockbuster today. Got a couple bottles of fine wine, fireplace is going strong, just a cozy night at home. I agree with you guys that going out tonight is more of a pain in the a** than it's worth. I hate putting up with all those young drunks at the clubs/bars. And then those drunks get out on the road. We'll be reading about afew of them tomorrow that didn't make it home. Happy New Year to all!! Let's hope 2003 brings some peace and sanity to the world.

Well, I don't see any large stains anywhere. All my gear is still in place. Wendi seems to not be pissed.

    Couldn't have been that bad.

Just got back from squirrel hunting. Bagged two with the .22 and the dog made great retrieves. The cold air was refreshing - did me some good. A fine morning alone in the hardwoods....I'll take it any New Year's day.

I know it wasn't the most exciting of evenings,
but I spent the night at home eating sushi, drinking beer and
    watching TV.
Rounded the night out by listening to Beethoven's 9th.
    Went to bed at 11.
