There are some people doing surveys or beta testing right now, but they are all under non-disclosure contracts. Don't know if they are just filling out forms or actually listening to anything, but they ARE coming.

It's just surveys not beta testing.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Let's start our own thread with what we think would be nice for the next generation LSi.

Granted, this is all subjective but I would like

Better performance at same, or slightly higher, price point.

    A more rounded wooden enclosure.

An "old school" 3-way model that is shorter and wider with a 12" woofer, 6" midrange, and tweeter.

    SDA version
Lumin X1 file player, Westminster Labs interconnect cable
Sony XA-5400ES SACD; Pass XP-22 pre; X600.5 amps
Magico S5 MKII Mcast Rose speakers; SPOD spikes

Shunyata Triton v3/Typhon QR on source, Denali 2000 (2) on amps
Shunyata Sigma XLR analog ICs, Sigma speaker cables
Shunyata Sigma HC (2), Sigma Analog, Sigma Digital, Z Anaconda (3) power cables

Mapleshade Samson V.3 four shelf solid maple rack, Micropoint brass footers
    Three 20 amp circuits.

I would like to see a LSiC with 6 1/2" drivers instead of the 5 1/4" ones. Out of all of my LSi's thats the only speaker that I feel is lacking. I would really like to see one thats set up like the Paradigm Signature C5 center.

all else equal, i find the angles very useful on current lsi's, particularly the top and bottom of the wood side panels. while sitting in the listening position the additional points of reference make it much easier to double check horizonatal and vertical toe and alignment by eye than if the enclosure were conventional or curved. i like to move the listening position closer and further from the speakers, so being able to check that i'm in the right spot quickly and pretty accurately by eye makes life easier for me.

now, if there were sq improvements for the trade, that's a different story.

just the same, i probably won't be swapping mine out for a while anyway.

What I would like to see on the new LSi line,

    1) 6 inch woofers instead of 5 inch woofers on the bookshelves, which should give you deeper and more coherent bass

    2) Front firing woofers instead of side firing woofers on the floor standers

It's going to be awhile until the new line hits the streets.

Fine by me - Personally I am enjoying the hell out of the old line..... :)

Bigger drivers, move this, change that - forget it. When paired with the right electronics, I think they sound great the way they are. I do agree the cosmetics could use a little freshening, but the sound excellent just the way it is (imo of course).
    Mains.............Polk LSi15 (Cherry)
    Center............Polk LSiC (Crossover upgraded)
Surrounds.......Polk LSi7 (Gloss Black - wood sides removed and crossovers upgraded)
    Subwoofers.....SVS 25-31 CS+ and PC+ (both 20hz tune)
    Pre\Pro...........NAD T163 (Modded with LM4562 opamps)
    Amplifier.........Cinepro 3k6 (6-channel, 500wpc@4ohms)

Make an LSiC with additional and larger speakers. However, it must be able to blend in with the existing LSi line so that current owners can upgrade their center channel without having to replace the rest of their speakers.
