Hi,

I am trying to work around a new setup, and I am wondering if any issues start to arise when the LFE subwoofer cable length begins to exceed 22 feet?

Thanks for any help.

As long as it's a decent cable, you'll be fine.

I use a 28-ft cable with no issues. If you have hum issues and XLR is available, it would be a better option.

I'm running 4 "Y" splitters for 4 subs and about 84 feet of sub cable with no issues.

I have some RCA cabling of 35' in length no issue, 22' shouldn't be a problem with a nice cable.

Just out of curiosity, why is 22 feet the magic number? I have about 50 feet with no problems, and I also split it at the output end.

Alright awesome. Thanks for all the responses.

22 feet is the magic number because that's how far the cable will have to reach if I move my rack to the other side of the room.

Now I just have to find said cable. BJC maybe.

Signal Cable or BJC can make that length for you.

I'm a bigger fan of Signal's termination though. BJC's termination was loose on a few of my components.
