The mailman and couriers have been busy...
New HU- discontinued Alpine DVA 9965, new in box. The main selling point for this unit was the optical out- hopefully paired with Alpine's PXA H701 processor sometime down the road.
New Screen (for DVD functions of the new HU), incorporates Bluetooth for phone as a pleasant byproduct.

Installed the new monitor in a matching base-model visor (no vanity mirror to interfere with the placement of the LCD screen). The screen was mostly intended to keep the co-pilot occupied on longer drives and NOT intended to be viewed by the driver (me). 1st attempt at installing in-car video.

Currently taking donations towards a PXA-H701 and an MRD-M1005 .
