I have both mini-jacks to chain my ST 5.125 and ST 1430 to my Denon 3803. The jacks will go in the holes on the B&K amps, but they will not 'lock' like they do on the Denon. Is this a metric vs standard sizing problem. It is becoming annoying. Has anyone else had this problem?

I did not have that problem with my amp. I just used a Radio Shack cable, sorry I don't remember the size but I thought they were only sold in metric sizes.

It is an odd problem. At first, I thought that there was something wrong with the first amp, but then when I got my second B&K amp and it was the same way
    I knew different.

I'm pretty sure that b&k uses 1/8 inch... could be that the cable you have is 3/32
