    You're better off getting yourself a pair of sda speakers.
    I have one but i wouldn't recommend you getting one.
    It's a real pita to set up, adds noise and doesn't work well with all types of music.

    I'm one of those strange folks who like the sound of sonic holography. Some day I'll find a pair of SDA's I can afford. Until then I have a pre-amp that has sonic holography in my main setup and I love it. I hear very little extra noise (if any). I want it to go with my second rig which will include a vintage Kenwood KA-9100 integrated. I hooked this amp up to my main system and it sounded very good but something was missing. When I went back to the Carver pre with Hafler amp and sonic holography turned on I realized what was missing. I know this has been debated ad nauseum in this forum but I'm a Carver fan. I love the wide soundstage and 3D effect when it's set up correctly. So ESAVINON, do you eant to part with it? If yes, how much? Oh yes, I live in Canada which may explain a few things. Like my love of 70's equipment.

    you might also look for a Carver ECS-U speaker control box that was made for the ALS originals. It has the SH circuit built in, and may be a bit cheaper than the C-9 if all you need is the SH circuit.

    I have Carver sonic holgraphic generator c-9,just took out of my system today in excellent condition. Just want to Listen to my Martin Logans without any added sonic colorations.Currently running Adcom, McCormick, with Sony SACD and DAT.Had a Polk XM tuner but is selling on Ebay because you can load XM on Ipod Touch .
