I'm trying my hand at an old (new to me) meal. Beef and vegitables. The beef is roasting in a pan of water and I'll add some potatos and carrots to it. I have a feeling I'll end up going out to eat. Now, what for desert?

They should never have given me a day off from work. I get too bored!

MM, the easiest way to fix that meal (and the most foolproof) is in a crockpot, broham. Throw it all in the crockpot cover it with water, maybe a bullion cube, set 'er to low and let it cook overnight or all day.

BTW, pick up a 4-pack of Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout. Absolutely fabulous for desert.

It was Awesome! Maybe a little more salt or a bouilion cube would have helped a little. I ended up using a jar of beef gravy mixed in. I served it on a bed of noodles cooked aldente and a little parmesian cheese on top.

Speaking of beer, I'll try the samual smith tonight as I have a little driving to do.

    Hbomb,
I knew what your post was before I even finished reading it! Speaking of drinking and driving, I've been meaning to say something but kept forgetting. Remember your employee problem a little earlier? Well I heard on the news where basically the same thing happened here in MD. A woman who drives a state owned vehicle in a government job was arrested for a dui in her own car. It was decided she would continue to drive the state owned vehicle unless/until she was actually convicted of the crime. Never heard anything after that. I hope your incident went ok.

Ya!!! Believe it or not the State dropped the charges. When Local Judge found out what position our company was takeing he dropped the charges completely. I loved it!!!

I was going to post the results but forgot.

    Thanks for remembering

Judges are cool that way sometimes. I still think your company should get a big finger waved at them for their actions! A little respect was probably lost for them not backing their employee in the least. At least you gave it some serious consideration.
