Help installing Polk RTS speakers

I'm just about to install a RTS range 5.1 setup, the RTS range have the performance enclosure built in.
My question is, my front 2 speakers will have a void behind them, am I best filling the void up with some sort of insulation material, or do the speakers work best with a void behind them.
The void will be about 2'D x 3'W x 5'H.

So are you saying you have the performance enclosures for all the speakers except the front two? I'm just trying to get a little clarification on the rest of the system. Some insulation, or even some dynamat usually helps, but the void will proably help the sound in many ways, so I wouldn't worry a lot about it.

I have the 105 for the fronts 100 for the rears and the RTS centre speaker.
The front 2 are the only ones with a big void behind them. I'm also thinking about the sound-proofing properties of filling up the void, if you see what I mean.

If you have enclosures, you should be OK.

Maybe line the void with one layer of bat style insuallation, and call it good. If there is a room behind the speakers, as your post implies, maybe put two layers on the rear wall. That will cut down most of the sound "escaping" the void, and will help the speakers sound better anyway.

Sorry, what's bat style insulation?, when I google it, I only find how to make a home for bats, I do not want bats living behind my speakers :D
Sorry I'm from England, I've never heard of it.

Sorry, I didn't know the technical term for it, and I don't even know if it is available to you, but you can buy fiberglass insulation in rolls, or stacks. It is usually around 10cm thick, so you can put a couple layers for more sound deading.
