Update!

This karma is open to all forum members with over 500 posts. Enjoy! AL

Up for karma is a older Sony CD player.. this is the old skool kind where the entire deck removes from the mounting bracket. circa late 80's or very early 90's

Here are the details. I bought this years ago when mobile CDP's first hit the market. At the time this was one of Sony's TOTL players. it's 8 times oversampling has two colors of light displays. it's 25+25W max. No instruction manual is included. It does come with the mounting bracket of course. See pics below.

Please read:
I don't honestly know if it works or not.. so know that before entering the karma. It may fire right up and work fine.. but since it hasn't been used in over 10 yrs I don't know for sure.

to enter you must be a regular contributing member and have over 500 posts.

just say " I'm In" and you're entered

Karma closes at midnight on June 15th 2008. so get your entries in now.

Not in, but man, that thing brings back fond memories of bumpin' back in the olden days. Had the cassette version of the same style deck and was really pleased with the performance and reliability. Great Karma...you should open in up to everyone here, though.

i'm offering it up to the mobile audio members first.. if I don't get any entries, then yeah I'll open it up to everyone. it's a solidly built deck. it never skipped.. and for the time.. 8 times oversampling was barely hitting the market for car CD players.

That really does look like an awesome radio. Would be great to have it in a Wrangler or something sometime down the road. I'd love to have it (I've contributed to the 'dark side', though not much lately), but it would be to keep around for my next car as I already have a nice radio in my current vehicle.

Count me in, cool setup. Whoever wins it will have to decipher the old school wiring colors as they weren't universal back in the day :)
