Powering RTi12's

Hello all -

In about 2 months or so I will be picking up a pair of RTi12's and want to start now on researching for amps.

I will be running a Yamaha RX-V663 (7.2 , 95wpc with pre-outs) with these speakers. My questions I have for you guys are:

1) What is the appropriate WPC to power the RTi12's.

2) What amp recommendations would you make to power the RTi12's. (just a 2 channel, or 2 monoblocks.) I would want to buy a used amp to save money. (I am on a budget here, no more than $350 tops)

3) Would bi-amping the speakers help out a lot or should I just use the amp only.

Get a adcom 555, used 350.00 or so. http://cls.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cls.pl?ampstran&1216916599 I have m200's. If i could have it my way i would have this http://cls.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cls.pl?ampsmult&1214871095 200 per chann. is the going rate around here. I would like to have more. Good luck

What about a good WPC for the RTi12's . Also what do you think about Bi-Amping.

forget biamping, I run my Rti12s off a D-Sonic Magnum 1000S. Look into it

anything over 125wpc will do those RTi12's nicely... if you can approach 175 or 200+ they will love you even more. be sure whatever amp is a high current design.. that's more important than the WPC.
