should I up/downgrade to 2 kickers capable of 1000w RMS @ 2ohms??
what kind of difference should I expect?
or even a 750w RMS @ 2 ohms.

The SR's will sound better. They play virtually flat all the way down to 20 Hz. Thats exactly what you want in an SQ sub.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005

wait, i'm lost. I have a pair of SRs. I'm talking about if I downgrade my jl audio 500w to a kicker that can do 750w or a kicker that can do 1000w @ 2 ohms. What should I expect -
bump,,, even though both my subs stopped working with the 500w jl audio @ 4 ohms

The more power will give you more output, headroom and generally better SQ potential.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005

let me know where u can find subboxes for this.

Well, I blew these subs a while ago. One works but it sounds really bad, while the other doesn't work at all. Is it because it was underpowered? Or because I put the sub volume on high in the indash? I don't know.. If I underpowered them. Are kicker amps good enough for these or must i get two 1200.1? they are expensive even with acomodation price.

You should contact Polk customer service. Could be you got some bad ones. That JL amp shouldnt have blown those subs unless you had the gain maxed out and were cranking the volume.
Did you buy them off Ebay or some other rip off site? If so you might have gotten some remanufactured crap.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005
