A nut slipped out of my hand and fell between the baffle of my Lsi 9 and I think it was sucked into the bass port. What to do?
And I mean calling all cars, blackhawk down, mushroom cloud, Three Mile Island, lock the door behind you kind of mad.

Hold it upside down and do the chicken dance.

I did more than the chicken dance. All I could think about was...."We are caught in the tractor Beam."...."Use the Force Luke". I shook it every which way w/o getting crazy.

I have another magnet that I could use to try and fish it out with, but I do not want to screw up the polarity of the speaker magnets. Is that possible. OR, I could crank up my pb plus 2 and blow it out.

I have nuts (foam peanuts) stuck inside the LsiC I just picked up. Thanks for the awesome packaging job, dude that sold it to me!

Took off a driver and the crossover to fish most of them out. . . but I can still hear one or two of them in there if I shake it.

Drivers are easy to remove with a screwdriver, just don't poke any holes while you're **** / unscrewing. You should fine the nut against one of the magnets inside.

I had the red binding post tightener slide out of my hand while removing the jumpers off a pair of RTi8s and it hit the Power Port just right to slide inside. Luckily, the Power Port unscrewed easily and a few minutes shaking worked it out. That was plastic, though. Good luck with your problem.

Anybody have sound advice (no pun intended) on how to get it out. The baffle on the back does not have any visible means of removing it. I do not want to trash my speakers.

What he said. They might have some sort of sealant around them, just be careful.

    +1
take the drivers out, if no screw holes are visible they are often coverd up by grommets that hold the speaker grille on.

Mission accomplished. I very carefully removed the tweet and the top driver. You almost have to remove the tweet to remove either of the drivers. After I removed the 9 screws, I used a thin metal washer to ever so slightly work the tweet loose. I got lucky; there was my little nut in plain sight. I did have to use a long screw driver and some patience because it was out of reach and I did no have a magnet that would fit inside. I now realize how well constructed these speakers are, and why they are so heavy.

The nut in question was nowhere near the magnets and probably never would have come close, but I think I still could have shook the thing until my arms fell off and it still would have not come out. I do not even know how it got that far in with all of the insulation.
