Poll!! JBL SUB12 vs. Bic H-100 vs. Polk PSW505?!

I've been trying to decide between these four subs for a while now!! I want something with a LFE input. The specs on the JBL 12 seem the most attractive. I haven't been able to audition any of these subs....does anyone know if a local DC/MD/VA area that carries these?

I've included a blurb on these four if anyone is interested in more details:

i have velodyne dps 10 and 12. So the velo gets my vote

Although I didn't vote in the poll, I purchased the JBL Sub 12 online (JR I think) a few months ago. Got it for cheep new, and the shipping was cheep too (might have been free in fact). In any case, I was looking for a cheep sub to complement my R20s for occasional 2 channel duty in the bedroom.

I am pleased with it. It is by no stretch a high end sub, but for the money its not bad. If compared to the Velodyne SPL 1200 series II (OK not a fair comparison, but the only one I can make since I own both), it is not as tight, nor as powerful. Front firing, ported downward, and all the necessary connections and tuning tools you need on the back plate. Worth the money.

Ive only heard the JBL and the Polk and I have yet to hear a JBL sub that sounds even decent for half of the cost they think they can get out of them. My mother has the 505 with a surround bar and I'm very happy with the sound quality.

ya i would go with either the velodyne or the polk. JBL just isnt what it use to be. their new speakers are a poor design, compared to what they use to sale.

and what the hell is BIC that cheap subwoofer they sell on amazon ?
