Monitor 10's fuse

Just picked up a pair of monitor 10's with peerless tweeters last night. $75 on e-bay. Hooked them up and something was obviously not right. Neither tweeter was working. Both fuses were blown.

Will pick some up today, but wondering how frequently this happens? Should I get a large supply of fuses to have around or is it an uncommon event unless you're playing at excessive volumes?

Once they are working properly I'm anxious to compare the sound to my RTA-11t's which I have swapped the SL-2000 for the RD0-194 tweeters.

The fuse holders get oxidized. just sand the fuse holder and all will be good.
