Hey guys. What's the recommended height for speaker stands? i.e. should the speaker by at ear level or above/below? I know the center channel should be at ear level (ideally). What about the fronts and rears?

Tweeters should be at ear level, center and mains should be the same height ideally.

For HT the rears / surrounds should be about 3 feet above ear level.

3 feet for the rears worked well for me too. I had 8 foot ceilings and sat in a recliner so at about 6 feet up the wall was ideal. It helped to create a more natural environment and blend with the fronts having them up higher as opposed to nearly ear level.
