Always liked the V-Max. The original commercial was always cool to see. What is with that new one though. The singer distracts from the bike cause he sucks ****.

I like the new look. It hasn't lost that drag/cruiser look. And those big aluminum intakes are nasty looking.

    NICE!!!!

Wonder if it's as quick as the older ones? Heard any performance numbers? Always thought it would be neat to put that motor in a Venture and terrorize.

The only things missing are machine guns and missile launchers.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

The V-MAX is the ultimate bike in my mind. It is truely what Mad Max the Road Warrior would ride. If I thought I would live through the experience I would buy one tomorrow.

The perfect bike for what I refer to as "organ donors". I've always liked the VMAX and it's on the short list of bikes I haven't owned yet but want to. There will be a laid down once one coming to your favorite salvage yard shortly after they hit the dealers showrooms

    I see they're still shafties.

IMHO, that's the only thing that they didn't do right last time, and apperently they still haven't.

There are people who actually prefer chain / belt drives? Wow. Do you just like tinkering and constant maintenance or is there some other benefit?

If I'm going to buy a bike like that, (and lets face it, nobody is going to buy one for it's comfortable riding position), I'm going to want every ounce of hp and torque I can get out of it.....That's a chain. Think Ninja's, GSXR's etc, AFAIK I know, they're all still chain drives.

I've had both, I prefer a shaft too, but I'm not the v-max's target audience either. :p

My Lil' 85' Suzuki GLS says ...... SHAFT !

Although, if I had the bucks to hook up with something like that Vmax, I wouldn't care if it had a shaft, belt, chain, or chicken wire.

Gawd, that thing is ..... so good, it's ..... NASTY !!

It definitly makes a powerful statement, but I wouldn't call it my favorite look. But, a 102.5 CI motor is just awesome.

This one has a fully adjustable front/rear suspension, and I'm sure yammie has addressed the shaft-jack issues of old--at least for 18 Large they better have...

Nah, most likely can't drive fast with those, too prone to wind. I'd rather get a ZX14 for less money.

Those are the concept pics. You can tell by the lack of cushion on the seat and the headlight that isn't really aheadlight just a peice of plastic shaped to look like one.

I think it is a mean looking bike. The price is pretty tough though.

I think it is horrible. If I ever get another bike, it would be this one; not too shabby at 1783 cc, and a real pleasure to ride. Not to mention you can get a new one for around 11K

I have broken too many gears with shaft drive, and there is torque steer that can be down right scary in a turn. BTW the ergonomics look way too cramped for us 6ft + guys.

I actually just bought one of these. I didn't exactly have the biggest budget so I was just looking for something comfortable that I could ride for cheap. Got last year's model for 5 grand, brand new. Been pretty happy with it so far; comfortable, looks good, nice sound (stock), decent power for a 750 cruiser. Not to mention almost 60MPG.
