If you had to sell a pair of your Polks, which one and why?

If I had to choose it would probably be my srs's.

Why: I kind of like the more intimate sound I get from the smaller SDAs, especially my 1b's and 2b's. I don't blast my music anymore except for maybe a song or two just to hear what they will do.

Any model that has the sl2000 tweeter gets set on the curb.

My 2.3TL. I never get a chance to listen to them they way they should be. Plus, I don't have a room they can shine in.

    My RTA11, 7s, 5s, and 5jr are about all I need anymore.

If I ever sell, I'll post em here first.

You're not getting them back, stop crying!

If you're nice, I let you listen to the Amazings when I get the last pile of cash for my monoblocks!

As for me, the set of Polks I would sell are...none of them. I'll sell you KLH 17's though! I have 6 pairs! I have so many I ran them in a home theater setup for a while!

I hate to say it, but probably my SDA 1bs. If I can convert one of our guest rooms to a toy room, then I would not part with them. Where they are now, they can not shine due to room shape.

I've only sold one pair of Polks and miss them very much. I sold a pair of RT800i because I was short on cash many years ago and regret doing that to this day:(. Now I have a pair of RT5, RT15i, LSi9 and 4 pairs of other brands that won't be going anywhere.

My SDA 1C's,, because I've owned too many,,I don't deserve them,,and they were upstaged(as were my 2.3's) by Carver Amazings,,which in turn were replaced with a set of Plats. There is just too much out there that I have to experience,,but the Plats will be here for a looooong time.

Probably not and yes it's that good.

I'd sell my RTA-11ts. Why? Because the only other Polks I own are 1.2TLs and it would be hard to replace those.

I don't think I have any around anymore. If I had a customer with a real bad case of the hots for Polk, I'd just wait till the next time I was at Troy's house, and sell them a pair of his because he's not home.

I would sell my Lsi 7's (used as rears) and replace with LsiFX. Due to room constraints they are currently on the back wall right in line with the couch used for viewing movies. I don't get any "surround sound" feel at all and can pinpoint what speaker the sound is coming from. With no options for alternate placement, it is my hope that the dipole/bipole feature of the LsiFX's will fix this.

My RTi10s, just because they're obnoxiously huge for my stereo setup; I'd consider selling and using the proceeds to go to a set of new RTI A3 bookshelf speakers.

    My Monitor 10As.

Now that I'm healthy and back to work, the SRS 2s and Monitor 7As are not going anywhere, unless I move to another house(not likely anytime in the near future).

I recently parted with my entire Polk Monitor setup. I actually miss them. They were great speakers for the prices, and I don't care what anyone says, they weren't that bright or unlistenable once I put some good amps on 'em.

But, now that I have an entire LSi setup powered by a beastly B&K 507S2, I'd say I'll keep my current polks for quite some time. Not a big fan on the LsiC, but more because it came in a box with nearly no packaging inside and got a little dinged. Nothing bad, but you wonder what people are thinking when they just throw a $700 retail speaker in a box with some peanuts.

Bedroom: Samsung HPR-4252, Toshiba HD-A2, HK 3480, Signal Cable, AQ speaker cable, Totem Dreamcatchers, SVS PB10-NSD, URC MX-850
