Sony Remote - Free to Good Home!

I have a Sony RM-Y191 remote control from my previous Sony 34" Widescreen TV (non-XBR model) that is in excellent shape. If you need one, or need a spare, PM me and I will ship it to you. I'd rather spend a couple of bucks to see it get used, rather than toss it in the trash!

    If I remember correctly the XBR remotes are different. This remote would not work with a 36" XBR CRT.

    Interesting.

    IIRC, a while back someone on one of the AV forums posted that when they went to demo the XBR960 in a store, changing the channels with the XBR remote caused the non-XBR set next to it to do the same.

    I did try my 27" Wega's remote on the XBR and aside from the proprietary buttons (PIP, DRC, etc.) the remote worked fine with the XBR set.
