All I need is to make and receive calls, nothing more. My last phone was free, that's the only type of phone I'll pay for.

Oh, and I'll never, ever be caught dead with one of those ears pieces on my head.

still has no bluetooth, hmmm, it's a bummer, since Cali will have the handsfree law coming up July 1st and it would be a smart thing to have the feature.
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

When they decide to be smart and actually SELL their frickin' product to the mass market. They're getting a little better. Being exclusive to AT & T is so stupid (yes, I know the cracked phones blah blah).

Nope. My G'z One is the best phone I've had. Light on software, heavy on hardware. Durable.

Bluetooth headsets make you look like an idiot. I use them for my PS3. Would never wear one outside the house.

    It has bluetooth.

And i have a bluetooth handset but only because it's illegal to talk on a cellphone while driving in NY. Tickets are expensive and the bluetooth was free so I definitely use it, but only in the car.

Their contract ends next year. The new iPhone still doesn't allow tethering.

Amen to that. I cannot believe people actually wear those things. I'd never wear one inside or outside the house.

How hard is it to just not talk on the phone until you're done driving? I mean, sometimes something comes up but really can't you just say "i'm driving, call you back in a few"? I hate being on the phone while driving, I can FEEL it distracting me.

Because we live in a ME ME ME society. It doesn't matter that they are putting other driver in dangers. It's a known fact that cell phone distracts your ability to focus on the road but they are just too important to take the call later.

Nah, since I use my cell phone primarily to make and receive calls, there are plenty of other phones that do this much better and much cheaper on a more reliable network.

I'll answer and if it can be handled quickly, say <15 seconds, I'll talk. Anything else and I tell the person "I'm driving... I'll call back as soon as I can."

Since I have bluetooth voice call integrated with my car, driving and talking is not bad at all. I do agree that it distracts from the focusing on the driving. I could be pulling into the office garage, after an hour on the phone, and couldn't really recall what I passed along the way (my route to the office goes through 4 major freeways). I supposed it's a good thing to make my commute time productive.
