The Onk's in all the links look like they came out of half-**** rack systems. Onkyo made a few of those. If that's all you need, go for it. I have a real Onk pre down here, a Integra P-306RS. It needs two Onk wafer knobs. It is about the heaviest pre you'll ever find. It has the gorgeous rosewood side panels that all the nice Onk pre and powers had through the 80's.
