Mostly lossless WMA and FLAC, also CD's, SACD's, PCM, and vinyl."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche

you should.. and it's not expensive really to get into it.. you can of course take it up in $$ if you want.. but like me.. i just wanted a 1970's Pioneer TT to do some occasional listening to some vinyl. A 70's era Pioneer that I could never afford back then.. i can easily now.. they are inexpensive usually.
get yourself a turntable, get a good cartridge and needle and some vinyl... and sit back and enjoy. (be sure your current gear has a phono input though, alot of modern day gear doesn't offer them anymore).PolkFest 2012, who's going>?

Hate to admit it, but more and more, my listening consists of mp3, flac, wma etc... lately I went as far as using my Sony Ericsson w910i as a source
TTs? didn't like 'em even back in the 80s.
once enough music is released in blu-ray's "DTS-HS Master Audio" format, I'll look into buying a decent BR player."If the global crisis continues, by the end of the year Only two Banks will be operational, the Blood Bank and the Sperm Bank. Then these 2 banks will merge and it will be called 'The Bloody **** Bank'" -

While at home: FLAC, WAV, LAME VBR MP3
While in the Office: LAME VBR MP3
While in the Car: CDs...soon to be LAME VBR MP3
In the next 3 months I hope to never have to listen to another cd again. -
Reecords and CDs mostly, also FM radio and some reel to reel tape.
My kids got me an iPod which I dutifully loaded with some of my collection (Apple lossless), but I find the interface clunky and I am not often compelled to use it. -
CD's, vinyl, FM/XM radio.
No MP3's or anything like it here._________________________________________________

CD, iPod (different formats) and vinyl.
I plan to buy a cheap SendStation to bypass the iPod amp and connect the iPod to an indoor home stereo and garage stereo. But, if I'm really listening, it's CDs only.
I tried hooking up my turntable to the main indoor system but the buzz and crackling low-quality vinyl made it unusable. The vinyl now lives in the garage system, where buzz is acceptable.
On proper vinyl: Yes, vinyl records sound better than all other formats. But, to get that sound, you'll need an expensive turntable, pre-amp, amp and somewhat expensive collection of good vinyl records. Also, you'll need to properly store the records and tweak the turntable. That is alot of money, time and space.
On improper vinly: Hook it up in your garage to release your scratched-up childhood collection and relive the carefree days of the 70s or 80s or early 90s with some Miller High Life, PBR or Coors Extra Gold. Mullet optional but preferred.Marantz DV4001 CD and DVD

Dude, go for flac. you'll have twice as much disc space, no loss of quality.Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.
