Sansui T-60 tuner FM (&am) antenna question

I have a Sansui T-60 I got for $20. It didn't come with an antenna. I live in a ground floor. Any suggestions? Here is a bad pic of what it looks like on the back. It seems I can't just buy an antenna at the store.

I might need something stronger than that. The issue is the F wire on most of the new powered antennae. Should I cut it and plug the ends in?

Thanks. I got the dipole. It's close, but not quite. I've messed with placement. I may get another one, connect them and extend it outside as high as possible, but can I really get away with cutting a powered antenna and plugging it in? It will make that much of a difference?

    Thanks!
Can I use some old speaker cable to extend the antenna?

i would use twin lead wire to extend the dipole or antenna. from the picture it looks like you have a twin lead wire connection to the tuner.
