Brian "Buckethead" Carroll. I've seen him open for Primus numerous times in the mid 90s. Extremely talented and amazing to watch, but boring to listen to, much like Steve Vai and other virtuosos. He's one of the greatest virtuosos of all time, though, I'll give him that.
I'll never forget walking into the Rave and watching this guy shred for an hour with like 30 other people. Definitely an amazing experience. He was opening for some other band before Primus and nobody was there. -
His most popular song is "Nottingham Lace" which is a terrific song. It was made extremely popular on the game Guitar Hero. Although the song starts a bit boring it gets pretty awesome when the three minute solo erupts. My Main Gear
