2,000 Foot High Rise. Will be the tallest building in the U.S.

The developer announced yesterday that 30% of the condos have been sold, which means that this building will be built. They are saying this will be the most significant building to be built in the U.S. since the Empire State building.

Some say it's ugly, I think it's pretty neat. Calatrava is an absolute genius.

If I had the money to invest in a condo there I would do it in a heartbeat. The value of it will go nothing but up, IMO.

They've already started clearing the ground for it. I think it is a really cool building and it's waaaaaaay out of my price range!

I remember taking the express to the top of wtc, 10...20...30, it was fast and my ears were popping, when we got to the top I made the mistake of having a few tall boys with lunch. I thought I might barf when we got back down to the lobby.

Yeah, I have no need to go to the top of that beast.

Where'd you find those prices (just curious, they seem ridiculously cheap for Chicago in that location)?

    EDIT - Found it!

    Wow...might have to reconsider.

I'm impressed with the door knobs.
I'll probably go with the 4 bedroom suite (lots of door knobs).
