ok this seems to be the best place to post this...
I want to make sure i'm calibrated correctly so i'm looking in to the discs that help with this... now i'm going to pick up and spl meter from radio shack.. and now i just need to know, which is the better calibration disc for audio and visual, or both..

Last I checked the consensus was DVE was easier to use and more consumer friendly, while you could do more with AVIA and it has more specialized tests.

I have AVIA and have found it very helpful and fine to use.
