And here I thought toys were only found in the bottom of kids' cereal. How foolish. Anyways, here it is. Not quite sure what it is, but its hard and has a nice threaded screw on the other end. Kinda pissed that my wife and I have been eating out of this jar for a while now. Who knows how much, if any, grease and other contaminants we ate.

That wasn't peanut butter you were eating...that was high temp grease.

I wouldn't worry about it too much, its probably just part of the machinery that makes the peanut butter, which has to be clean......

I think the more important question here that would benefit us all is:

What brand of peanut butter do you buy?

Seriously, that's effed up that you actually got something in it. Looks like a part busted off a machine. I remember some lady here in Milwaukee put needles in her Pepsi and tried to sue them for it.

At least it wasn't as bad as the pepsi I got out of a machine that had a dead mouse in it. Didn't notice it until I had taken a big gulp. As you can see, (or read I guess) I didn't die. Definantly something you want to let the manufacturer know about.

what if this peanut butter company has a history of poor product quality control.. and Shelby's is just another in a long line of problems for this manufacturing plant?

think about it.. how many of us would freak at finding a big **** piece of metal and plastic and who knows what else in their peanut butter?

maybe no injuries took place.. but think what that says about the company and their quality control. I would think the peanut butter company would not want this kind of information to make it to the internet. You all know the power of the internet.. word of stuff like this takes off like a wildfire.. people on the internet have a strong voice in terms of influencing how people think and react.

just saying with the right attorney.. he might be able to pay off his house ;)
