Hi!

I've been trying to search these on the net and have had only two places that have a Csi5 center (one being an ebay seller). Same with the Csi3s. Is it because the new line of Csi A's is out and retailers are phasing the Csi5s out? I know that polk direct still sells these but I wanted a better deal! :(

    Your not getting mine!:D

Ya, I think your right. They are introducing the new CSi A series to replace the CSi series.

    Yah, it's a major bummer.

Fry's had an insane bunch of clearance deals on CSi3s and 5s. I was able to only get a CSi3, they had been long sold out of the 5s by the time I got in on it.

FYI-I preordered a csi5 from onecall.com for $199 +$25 for shipping. Apparently polk is making one last run of a "limited" number from them, backordered until July. They had more recently increased it to $249 +$35(?) for shipping.

I noticed they're no longer listed on their site...so I called them to find out the deal. I can't swing another one right now, but after speaking with them directly they were prepared to offer me one at $199.

    Bottom line....
If you're interested in preordering and don't mind giving them a credit card no. to hold one. ....I'm sure you can talk them into selling you one at $199. I'd get on it fast though if I were you.

    Good luck.

I was able to find a Cherry CSi5 on clearance from Tweeters. It's a floor model, but I got it for $227 including tax and shipping. Should be coming next week.

Tweeter also has RTi8's, RTi12's, and one or two FXi3's still on clearance. They are selling the RTi8's for $148 each!

I was going to get a CSi5 but they are too big for my space. So I got the CSi3. If you look around you can still find them. And the deals are good too since they are closing out.

Amazon.com for about $320. Don't know if they are authorized sellers.

You can have mine for $250 if you want to pick it up

I'm sure the fuel bill from CA to NJ wouldn't break the deal at all :)

Tell the wife that if she wants the furniture to "match" you need this. Problem solved, next question. :D

The CSi5's are extremely hard to find now a days. They sound great, but you definitely need to have a suitable location to place them well. If anyone is near Northern California, and is interested in doing a local pick up, my black CSi5 is for sale at the moment.

    Ditto-Works for me :)

The wood finish is not an exact match but close enough. In my case you really can't see it anyway. I actually likes the CSiA6 (and actually the whole new line) because they put the wood veneer on the fronts as well.

I just ordered a CSi5 about 3 days ago from crutchfield for $270 with free shipping. I saw some other stores had it for about $250 + $30 or so shipping.

Onecall still has them in stock.
