As demoed at MD Polkfest. I've owned it, Mark has owned it, Big Lou owned it, Fireman Dave owned it, it's back in my possesion again. Push pull 6BM8 (2 tubes per channel) producing a wonderful 8 watts. This is the single chassis design of the famed ASL Wave 8 monoblocks but with much better output transformers. Black finish. Front power switch / LED, binding posts, Cardas inputs, detachable IEC on rear. Self biasing (cathode) circuit, tubes do not get any easier.
Oustanding working and cosmetic condition. Ships with a quad of Russian 6BM8, and a quad of old stock Phillips ($120 set of tubes). Generic IEC power cord provided on request.
The 6BM8 (ECL82) is essentially an EL84/6BQ5, with half of a 12AX7 on top of it. So you have the driver and power tube, all in one.
I've driven Monitor 50's, LSi7's, RTA8T's, and current listening to it on my Monitor 7's. 8 watts will do more than most think it will. I'd like to see this one stay in the family, that being said it will be listed publically tomorrow night in hopes for a quick sale.
$old treitz3 - Thanks Tom!

Hmmm, Polkfest?~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~

definitly one of those "has to stay in the family" pieces. Wonderful little unit. if you find a pair of old bozaks, snag em and run them on this amp, thats when you'll be VERY surprised what 8 little watts can do. I ran them on a big pair of Symphonies, sounded awesome!
I would say any speaker near or over 90 db efficient is worth a shot. I wished I owned this thing while I had my Rogers Monitors, thats a combo I;d be curious about.
your gonna have fun with that thing Tom, good on ya!Living Room 2 Channel -

Well, I've had this thing hooked up in the rig running a pair of Focal 807v's and I'm VERY surprised at the sounds that come out across the full spectrum of frequencies. Very nice little amp.
I have had 350, 325, 320, 150 and now 8 watts on these speakers and this little 8 watt tube amp is just what the doctor ordered. The sound [end result] that I hear from this Raddi amp is what I was looking to achieve. Great improvement on the sound stage.~ In search of accurate reproduction of music.
