I have noticed a few times when I'm listening to music in the car.. the amp is working great.. then after about 20-30 minutes later the amp cuts out and the Blue LED Power light starts flashing.. I'm trying to figure out what that means... the LED light for the Thermal isn't on so I know the amp isn't over heating.. I tried looking for info on this but can find any.. I'm hoping that someone on here would be able to help me out and define what that blue flashing led light means.. Thanks again, I appreciate it. P.S. I have a Alpine type E 10inch sub hooked up to the amp, and I have it bridged, if that makes a difference.. Thanks.

I dont know dude. If the amp is cutting off and its not defective, its either its overheating or its being pushed too hard, or maybe low voltage. I dont know for sure.

whats the coil-config of your sub? any chance your wiring it below 4-ohms when bridged?

1st I'd like to start off by saying thanks to those who replied and was able to give me some great info.. secondly.. the amp was not overheating nor is it defective... It was the blue power LED light that was flashing... The Alpine Type E Sub has and 4ohm Load and perhaps by bridging it it was under at 2ohms and thats what probably caused it.. not sure yet as I haven't contacted Polk Audio but plan on calling them to confirm what is the problem.. I will say this though, the sub is now blown, no biggie I plan on buying a new set of subs, I'll have two hooked up instead of one sub... Thank you everyone for your help. I greatly appreciate it.
