heat and subwoofers

i have a 2000 firebird with ttops so my car gets really hot inside on hot and sunny days and i noticed when it does my sub seems louder even though i havent changed anything, can somebody explain this or do you think i'm just having a problem with my sub or amp?

    i'm leaving the ttops on and windows up and leaving it in the parking lot while i'm at work so it gets really hot and i dont think it's my hearing cus it seems like a pretty big difference.
