Hi again everyone.Ive spent a-lot of time reading up on all the xover mods and interconnect cable upgrading and really want to upgrade my IC.First of all what is the purpose of the large(top) blade. When I was trying to figure out why my right stereo driver wasnt working I was told by some of you to only connect the female disconnect from the xover to the bottom (smaller) blade connection inside the cabinet. Its that way on both speakers. The large blade isnt connected to anything so Im just wondering if I have it right. The SDAs are 2Bs.

If you have the pin/pin [edit- that should say blade/blade] connector, and I think you do, only the lower pin is used. The top blade has no use in the circuit.

    I believe you mean blade/blade, http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=26674&d=1186345413

You are correct by saying the top blade is not in the circuit though.

Well thats easy enough.Parts express has some nice premium binding posts with male-disconnect tabs.A pair of those and a nice 12 guage cable from signal with vampire spades should do.
