I do everything here. I work, eat, and sleep here. I call my place the cube. It is 8x8x8. I have AC, Internet, and tunes to pass the time. I can't wait to get out of here, and up to GA. 64 sq ft, or 2800.

Thats $100 I don't have. Things are changing here, and moving expenses are coming up pretty soon. I am going to have to go to CT first instead of GA. I have work up there, and family. It sucks because I have that nice house in GA, I am stuck here, then I have to go to CT before I can go to GA and start a new business. Mean while my kids are in GA. Things are going to suck for a while:(
I did get lucky however, and got these speakers real cheap, and might sell them to turn a small profit.

Well I have been playing with positioning these things, and I had to use the EQ. The SL2000's are just painful. I didn't really want to sink any money in these, but my ears are hurting even when EQed. I made a braided silver IC with RCA's on one end, and an 1/8" on the other. That needs to burn in, but I don't think that even when burned in these things will be tolerable. The bass, and mids were sloppy with the cheap cable I had before, and the tweets were just way too harsh.

    Silver with SL200's?!

Even with all my Mac gear and MIT's, if I use silver speaker cables with my SL2000 SDA 2B's, it's very fatiguing.

Well I have had them less than 12hrs, and have already cracked them open. I don't know why it took so long. I couldn't stand the SL2000's piecing my eardrums. The stock resistor is 2ohms. I didn't even shut it down. I wanted tunes while I worked:D I clipped the old resistor, and put a 2.7ohm in its place.
    Much better:cool:
Still need to dump the tweeters, and get new ones if I am going to keep these.

IC's;) Even with the cheap WalMart Who Flung Pooh set it was too harsh. The silver IC's, and speaker cables I make are not harsh at all after a little burn in:) The speaker cables that I am using right now are the ones that come with "the Ipod thingy".
